SahWira Africa International (SAWI) is an organization founded under the initiative of Dr. Faith Mkwesha (PhD) September 2017 in Finland. This was inspired by the shared experience of racism and the need to mobilise against it, lack of community to support African, black and women of colour and lack of a network to support immigrant women. Also, witnessing the poverty, inequality and violence against women and children in Africa, the the desire change this and contribute to the development of Africa motivated the building of this organisation.
